Current Openings:

1. Sales

Applicants should have successfully completed post secondary education in Sales related to IT. Under the direction of experienced staff, a successful candidate will be working from our Ottawa office learning the complexities of government relationships in generating and qualifying leads in Financial Management, Salary Forecasting, Grants and Contributions, and Performance Modeling and Measurement. Bilingual English and French a definitive asset. Location of Work: Ottawa

2. Client Support

Applicants should have successfully completed post secondary education in any discipline and be familiar with computer systems usage. Under the direction of experienced staff, a successful candidate will be learning our product set as a tester. He or she will provide first line support, taking requests by telephone, understanding their context and directing requests to the appropriate department. He or she will learn to critique implementations and to approve or fail change requests. Fluency in English or French is mandatory. Familiarity with government accounting is a definitive asset. Location of work: Ottawa.

3. Software Development

Applicants should have successfully completed post secondary education in IT and be able to contribute to the team in product development. Tools and languages that are required: .Net 2, Java Script, Oracle, XML. Research direction includes Portlets - either Microsoft Sharepoint or Oracle, and Web Services. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of VFP is an asset. Location of work: Ottawa or Victoria.

4. Sales and Marketing Director

The Ottawa office is looking for an experienced bilingual resource to grow into the direction of sales and marketing for the company. This resource should be familiar with the Federal government policies and practices in Financial Management and Performance Measurement. He or she will be able to interact with the most senior levels of government and will have a skilled approach to identification of opportunities for AMA as a product-based company interacting with many partner firms in delivering value to our clients. He or she will also have the capacity to see and pursue opportunities outside of Ottawa and to enable the growth of the market share for AMA and the acceptance of our products in many potential markets. A successful candidate will also enable effective communication at AMA and provide critical feedback to staff related to product opportunities and product effectiveness.
